Will I have to pay fees?

If you’re aged 19 or over you might qualify for an Advanced Learner Loan. It’s easy to apply for and you won’t have to pay anything back until you’re earning over £27,295. Find more information on Advanced Learner Loans on our website.
If you are studying a part-time course and you receive one of the following benefits, or you depend financially on someone who does, you may be entitled to have your tuition fees waived:
- Job Seeker's Allowance
- Income Support
You will, however, have to pay any awarding body/assessment fees (unless you are on a first full level 2 course).

Course Information
This course explores a variety of
approaches to the production and presentation of photographic imagery, both
analogue and digital. It incorporates a stimulating combination of practical and
theoretical work in contemporary photography, printmaking, post-production,
visual language and critical -thinking skills, which will support your personal
development.
You will go on a variety of study visits
to galleries and museums, which are selected to guide and enrich your personal
learning experience.
This course provides a broad base in
photography, which covers camera handling, studio work and darkroom practice.
Over two years, you will explore a wide range of challenging projects such as
commercial art, documentary bookmaking, and digital manipulation.
As you progress, you will begin to
specialise in an area of your choice, such as photo-journalism, reportage,
portraiture or commercial photography. This will start to inform your practice
and prepare you for industry or university.
Through guided work experience, you will
have the opportunity to work on live projects, where you will be producing
artwork to meet clients’ needs; this will also develop your professional working
standards and practice.
